Considering the importance of the Critical Raw Materials Act, the availability, extraction, processing, and sustainable management of critical and strategic raw materials in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, the investment potential in the European and Greek Raw Materials industry, and the decarbonization of the Raw Materials sector through adopting Renewable Energy Sources and electrification of mining operations will be discussed in detail at the 8th Greek Community Dialogue on Raw Materials, organized by the EIT Raw Materials – RIS Hub Greece and the National Technical University of Athens on 9 November, in Athens.

Mr. Yazitzoglou, President of the Greek Mining Enterprises Association, will participate in the Dialogue and present the Greek Raw Materials industry dynamics. Representatives of the largest Greek industries of the sector, including, among others, MYTILINEOS, IMERYS, ElvalHalcor, Hellas Gold, TERNA-MAG, TITAN, and Sunlight, will also participate, presenting successful stories of the Greek Raw Materials industry and highlighting opportunities and needed actions to attract investments in the Raw Materials sector.
