EIT RawMaterials, in collaboration with Atlantic Copper, has launched the Open Innovation Challenge for Young Talents, aimed at fostering innovative solutions for the recovery of valuable materials within the primary copper smelting process.

This challenge is a chance for young graduates, last year master students and emerging professionals, to apply their knowledge towards advancing sustainability in copper metallurgy.

❗ Application Deadline: April 19th, 2024

👉 Who Can Participate: Second year master students or have recently graduated in master studies fields such as Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or any discipline related to the raw material value chain, with a preference for those specializing in Copper Metallurgy or Technology Validation, with a robust technical background.

🏆 Rewards: The winning team will be awarded €500 per member, either as cash or a traveler’s cheque, alongside an all-expenses-paid trip to Atlantic Copper’s facilities in Huelva, Spain.
