TrainESEE v2 Project Development and Management Workshop

TrainESEE v.2 is a capacity building project, funded by EIT RawMaterials, targeted at six universities of East and South Eastern Europe (ESEE), with a focus on improving specific generic skills, in line with the curricula insufficiencies. During the project four workshops will be implemented for academic staff/associates from 6 RIS ESEE universities, based on the modules developed: Teaching methodology; Project development and management; Innovation and entrepreneurship and Science to Business. Within the project, each of the six participating RIS Universities will collaborate in the preparation of the acceleration programmes.

The Schools of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering of NTUAis a partner of the TrainESEE v2 project, and is responsible for the organization of the Project Development and Management Workshop.

Project Development and Management Workshop: During the workshop, attendees will acquire knowledge related to the following: project goal and scope definition, creation of WBS, time and resource management, resource allocation, project monitoring and control, agile approach to project management. After the training, a successful attendee will also be able to pose an idea in the scale of technical readiness level, identify the available and most suitable funding sources, define the related funding requirements, transform an idea into a successful funding application (consortium formulation, preparation of required documentation). Training will provide crucial insights into project risk management and put the learning into practice through case study examples. Key elements of communication plan design and stakeholder identification and engagement are also covered within the module content.

The Workshop will be organized on-line on 7-11/6/2021.
